well, I wasn't there but I've heard this story more than a few times from people who were. From the guys who printed them, from the guys who collected them back then, and from the guys who know everything there is to know about star wars posters. an original (non hairy back bootleg) style c poster is very difficult to find. Period. the style c with no pg rating was printed for international use, about 500 were made. They appear machine tri folded, rolled, and hand folded. There was another print run made with a pg rating (several printers proofs are out there.....non printers proofs with the pg rating are practically unheard of). This second print run was either done as a mistake (unlikely in my opinion) or as a limited run for a special engagement in the U.S........don't ask me exactly what the special engagement was.....that is just what I've heard. Maybe it was for the one year anniversary or something like that......I can only speculate. again....none of these statements are set in stone, but they are pretty much accepted as fact to die hard star wars poster collectors.
