They were able to get Ralph Macchio back, but Pesci and Tomei refused to participate, citing prior commitments. So they had to write out Pesci and Tomei's characters, and it involved Macchio visiting a DIFFERENT eccentric relative. It was called My Aunt Martha.
I heard it was going to revitalize Macchio's career, but that for some reason that didn't happen.
