I have no idea how this relates to the HELP poster, nor could I comment
on the relatively instrument playing ability of the two, but Rogers
Waters was the lyricist during Pink Floyd's best period which included
all the really great albums such as /The Dark Side of the Moon

/Without Roger Waters, Pink Floyd would have been just another
flash-in-the ear psychedelic rock band that didn't make the transition
into the 1970's (and beyond).
PS: You *know* you're getting old when you can't remember exactly how to
spell 'psychedelic'...
