I don't buy a poster to restore/linen for resale. It's usually not worth
the expense, especially since so many buyers now shy away from buying
linen-backed and restored pieces. I do buy to restore if it's something
I really want for my personal collection. I personally prefer
linen-backing to framing something that looks like drek (sp?).

how many buyers buy a poster knowing in advance that they will
RESTORE/LINEN?

i suppose dealers & restorers have this in mind.
