as for Pop singers... this is it - jackson... and pop singers were
featureed in many films..
without doing a IMDB profile... I think many did crossover like the
avalon /funachello films and beach movie..
and the musiclas had Pop artists like lanza and Nelson Eddy and all that
where like pop artist of the times..
and so where all the females like Doris Day......and helen Oconnel and
many overlapped as Pop artist
singers and also actors... think - singin in the rain - combinded .
Dance, singers and actors all in one..
So I think merging all the elements where great,,
Think all the Cab calloway type black artist films that were loaded with
singers an dancers that were the pop
people back then..... Bolangles... and all the jazz artist,,
and whay about the Cowboys like autry and Evans and all the singing
cowboys that were recording starts and
personalitires,,,???
and people like Cugat and desi and all the latin artist? Its all a
hodgepodge of POP culture IMHO
