The more I think about this, the more I just wish it won't be Leo, it most likely will be and I think it's my wishful thinking that is willing it to be someone else.
I can't help comparing scorsese's companionship with Leo to that of De Niro, it's almost like he's trying to relive the years he had with de niro, nurturing a young talent into an idol, maybe he just has to have a special son figure in his films as he hasn't got a son in real life. I'm a massive massive fan of Scorsese and am no way being negative about him, just being observational and trying to work out what makes him tick. The man facinates me. Maybe I'm reading to much into it all but I just don't feel De Caprio has anything on De Niro, the boyish butter wouldn't melt look doesn't do a lot for me really, talented actor but strong enough to take on Sinatra?
