I've recently compared shipping from the US to CANADA for Priority
Mail versus First Class Air Mail. The main difference between these
is that Priority Mail is insured and packaging is provided by the
USPS. What I've found is that the difference in shipping price is
amazing! It is almost three times more expensive to ship by Priority
Mail. Thanks to Zeev Drach for bringing this to my attention. If the
client is okay with heavy packaging, but no insurance or tracking,
First Class is the way to go as far as I can tell. I think on more
expensive items, Priority or Express (really good tracking) would be
preferred.
