A good web site on 3-D for movies is http://marketsaw.blogspot.com/ . Looks
like they will be converting old 2-D movies into 3-D and re-releasing them. The
article on Alice in Wonderland says its cheaper and maybe better 3-D to film in
2-D with a 3-D assistant during the filming and then convert the film to 3-D.

Subject: [MOPO] The history of 3-D from stereoscope to : The New Yorker

Following up on some posts from several weeks ago, here is something from
Anthony Lane, who is, in my view, one of the most entertaining writers on the
Cinema -
or Movies, if you prefer! - This is an overview of 3D, Yesterday, Today and
Tomorrow.
Hopefully you will enjoy.

Who knew that Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes was a big stereoscopy nut !!! ?

COMIN' AT YA!
