I am not so sure about that, Kirby. The million dollar comic books get the
"oohs and aahs", but do they raise the prices of $10 comic books?

More that anything, I feel that the key to any hobby is whether the core
collectors have a true love of what they collect. Once the "investor types"
move in, and those with true love move on, the hobby grows much the poorer
for it, even if (in dollar terms) it *FEELS *like the hobby is still
healthy.

That is why I am so happy there is a "new breed" of poster collector that
you mostly find on allposterforum.com and not very much here. Many of these
collectors have hundreds or thousands of posters from the past 30 years.
They *LOVE *their collections, and they are buying their OWN memories, not
what other people tell them should be worth collecting.
