Rick,
I bought an Epson GT-15000 refurbished (read opened box) for less than
1400.00 (and they threw in a free decent un-opened Epson fax/printer to boot).
The 12 x 17 scan bed takes crystal clear images, very easy to configure
and has not given me any problems. It has been invaluable when offering
lobby cards to even the most discriminating. Possibly approach your local
equivalents to Frye's or Best Buy and see if they have one available. Or
Google the model and see if any available.

Does anyone have or know of a inexpensive large format flatbed scanner
other than the Mustek Scanexpress A3? I have had my second one go belly up
and really want to stay away from getting another of the same. If anyone has
an extra working model which they would sell at a fair price please drop
me an email directly. I need it for scanning lobby cards and am trying not
to go back to using a digital camera for these.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Rick _www.ilovefilms.com_
