"Whisky Galore" was released in the United States in its day as "Tight Little Island." It concerns a large shipment of booze that is, I believe, washed up on shore and hidden by the islanders during WWII. Needless to say, the denizens of the isle are pickled much of the time. As I remember, it is absolutely hysterical... in the class of such Brit marvels as the St. Trinian films. I can't remember any more plot details but I'm sure that IMDB has them-- under both titles.
