Really? That's great! Aside from being very well researched and written, the
book makes excellent and prolific use of stills, as well as posters and book
covers from hard-boiled paperbacks (which I also collect).
I just read the chapter on Gloria Graham. What a story! Married to Nick Ray,
she fooled around with his teenage son from another marriage. Years later
the kid (now in his twenties) became her fourth husband!!
The chapter on Touch of Evil, drawing parallels between Welles and the
character he played, Hank Quinlan, is also very good.
Terrific book!
