I took a great trip to Palo Alto one time with Channing and two friends and we saw the Stanford. It truly is grand, and I think there is probably no place available to the public in the United States in which film posters are shown off to such advantage and in such truly wonderful surroundings. It's worth anyone's time to include this destination on a checklist of California stops. Palo Alto is, of course, in no shortage of California elan. I remember that I had at the BEST ice cream there I have ever had period. I asked the purveyor of this stellar cone who made the ice cream and he said it was delivered to them by The San Francisco Ice Cream Company. Anyone ever heard of it?
David Packard did a great thing in dedicating this space inside the Stanford for these classic posters. Incidentally, MovieArt also had a six sheet for ONLY ANGELS HAVE WINGS, which we sold in 1999. So there are two of these great six sheets at least. Currently we have a one sheet for this title on our website.
