Actually I am in the same boat as you. However, while the subtitle fee did
go up to $1.50, what is happening is that good till cancelled auctions have the
subtitle dropped off on it's first renewal. I talked to the power seller
department last week at ebay and check my invoice to make sure that is the
case. They told me they did that for the reason that they didn't want people to
get charged the $1.50 when that isn't how the auction was originally listed.
So, anything that renewed after March 30th, had the subtitle automatically
deleted and the new renewal insertion charge is 5 cents for most categories.
There really is no more "ebay store" situations for the most part. Everything
is listed now in a fixed or online auction. If you renewable store items, it is
probably a good idea to occasionally close a few auctions and relist them. I
think, from my research, it will put you up in the search listings higher on
those items. It just tweaks your exposure a bit. Anyway, keep me posted if you
come across any other hidden fee problems.

If you sell on Ebay and you have an Ebay store, you probably are well aware of
the rocketing costs to have a store. To keep listing fees down, I switched to a
premium store for 49.95 a month. This allows you to still put a listing up for
5 cents.
BUT BEWARE: here is a fee that increased dramatically. It’s the “Sub Title” fee
or the second line you can create under your headline. For a premium store,
that fee jumped to a $1.50 a listing!!!! It was 2 cents and now it is $1.50!!!
Talk about inflation!!
To make matters worse (can it get worse?), if you have items in your store
listed with GOOD TIL CANCELLED and they automatically renew for 30 days, you
will automatically be billed $1.50 for your subtitle fee instead of the 2
cents.
THE HITS JUST KEEP ON COMING!
Just giving everybody a heads up. If I have this wrong (I have been on Ebay
slow chat for 45 minutes now trying to decipher their new fees), someone please
let me know.
