Hi Michael - Yes, the photos can be removed from the pages. We get requests
like this all the time, many times for baseball cards, photos, etc. They
first need to be cut out of the book individually, and the paper removed
from the back. The glue can usually be dissolved/removed with solvents and
the areas sanded to a smooth finish. It is always great if the glue has not
come through to stain the front.

Subject: [MOPO] Question about photos glued in a scrapbook
Hi all,
I have a scrapbook of mid 30's photos that are glued at the corners to
scrapbook pages of heavyweight, porous black paper. Leslie Howard
Scarlet
Pimpernal, Noel Coward, Private Lives of Henry VIII, Things to Come,
Transatlantic Tunnel, etc.
Anyone have any luck getting photos off of such a page.
The scrapbook likely dates to the 30's and is probably originally from the
UK. Before I acquired the book, it looks like someone was able to get
some
photos off the pages. There was a dollop of glue in each corner.
Thanks, Michael, Cinecityposters</HTML>
