Thanks for the info!
A recent home theatre construction has led me to realize how many posters I have and how little wall space there is in this world. I do have a small want list however (my wife thinks I’m crazy!) and will do my best to take some time to introduce myself to those I recognize from mopo or those I have dealt with going back to around 1979 or so! There is a great one though and only minutes from the Burbank Marriott where the Hollywood Collectors show is. Its Limagerie gallery located at 10555 Victory Blvd the cross road of Victory and Cahuenga. Open Tuesday through Saturday 11:30 to 6:00 pm. Now they are a bit gallery priced but don't hesitate to make offers. Some great lobby cards too but you have to ask to see those. If you want to make an appointment to see things at Walter Reuben's home, I would first visit www.Walterfilm.com and click search all pieces. That pretty well is his entire inventory but if anything absolutely begging to be seen you can call and make an appointment with him. I personally am not taking a table at this show but do have quite a few pieces available if you can give me a hint of your interests. Right now I have a fairly great selection of lobby cards, from screwball, to Hitchcock, to noir, animated, quite a bit of Audrey Hepburn including Tiffany's (oops just checked only one left but mint but other titles as well, and especially classic and rare horror and the like. The horror are pretty high-end consignments (ready kind of pricey) such as THE RAVEN, MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE, THE MAGICIAN, and the like MOST ARE UNRESTORED which is a huge plus given the recent scandal of counterfeits which of course were all backed. I also personally have very well priced some Noir one sheets like Roadhouse, Thelma Jordan and others. Let me know your interest and maybe we could meet if I have any items of interest. But it is a schlep to the valley for me so want to make sure I have valid items of interest for your perusal. Freeman Fisher In a message dated 4/17/2010 3:50:28 P.M. Will have more time this vacation. Any dealers/collectors planning on attending? And a few weeks back I saw a post about poster stores in LA… which ones are to be found and where. I never did see any responses. Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers to all!
