every movement of Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke) was perceived as a bid.
Hilarious.
in movies..........my favorite was the auction scene in NORTH BY NORTWEST.
& the other night i watched ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT, where Bogart was a
bidder at an auction that was the front for Nazis.
