I think your first instinct was right, to not give any feedback and never
buy anything from them again. Such sellers go around complaining how poor
their sales are, and they don't realize that they have burned many bridges
and that there are hundreds of people who will not buy from them under any
circumstances.

Life is far too short to deal with unpleasant people like these (unless it
is something you have always wanted and can't find anywhere else, and then
you sometimes just have to bite the bullet and deal with the devil!).
