Makes you wonder why they offer what is basically a customer loyalty programme 
of sorts, and then try and renege on it and take an unctuous attitude... that, 
as in this case, has lost them a customer.

And all over a couple of bucks.

  I appreciate the feedback.  It was just a bit shocking when I saw the emails, 
especially the second one.  Franc, eventually the seller gave the discount (a 
whopping $2 and small change) but I was sorry I ever asked for it.  They send 
these so-called discount letters with every order and I never bothered before.

  Can't bring myself to give the seller a negative because the packages are 
always shipped promptly and well packed.  But - after reading all your emails - 
I am going to tell them that I will no longer be buying anything from them 
because of their horrible attitude.
