Irv, What a great selection of candid photos you have there! I can just imagine some fan living around the hollywood area and hanging around outside the studios to try and catch the great stars of the time as they came and went from work. They seem to be of stars while outside of the studio lot back when the stars would often go across the street to catch lunch during break instead of chowing down at the studio commissary. Those were the great days when a fan would take pictures of the stars for their own scrapbooks and not to sell to the tabloids.... Good luck with the auctions on these. I will probably be in the running on a few of these myself.
