I don't think he did nearly as many different styles as he might have, had
he made some different career decisions. He was able to "ghost-draw" Li'l
Abner for years, in Al Capp's style, and few people knew (except that they
thought Capp had become to be a better artist!). He was both a wonderful
painter and also incredible with pen or pencil, and most artists specialize
in one or the other.
