*Our Spring 2010 Mini/Major Auction was a giant success, and it was truly
our very best auction since our "major" auctions ended in 2005!*

*Our Spring 2010 Mini/Major Auction took in $224,281!* We know that the two
parts of it contained an incredible selection of movie paper, and best of
all, it covered all genres and years, and all sizes (from lobby cards to
six-sheets), with an excellent selection of non-U.S. sizes. Our buyers
rightfully recognized that many of the items in this auction would not come
back to auction any time soon, and they "went the extra mile" for many
items. But in addition, there were many real bargains, and a few "outright
steals" (I am still shaking my head over that linenbacked silent six-sheet
that sold for around $200!).

You *MIGHT* think, after auctioning so much wonderful stuff, that we would
be taking a "break" from auctioning interesting material, but actually, our
three current sets of auctions have some of the coolest stuff for anyone not
looking to spend an arm and a leg! The Sunday auction ending the 9th has
all kinds of "odd" interesting items, some of which you have surely never
seen (and may well never see again), and lots of it can be purchased for
relatively small amounts of money. And our Tuesday auction has a fine
selection of one-sheets, and our Thursday auction has a fine selection of
single lobby cards. eMoviePoster.com truly is your one-stop shopping
destination for quality movie paper!

*Are YOU one of the 600+ consignors to eMoviePoster.com?*

If you have been staring at a giant pile of posters, lobby cards or stills
that you never look at, or are gathering dust in your eBay store, why not
consider boxing them up (or renting a truck!) and sending them to us?

We auction around 2,000 items a week, so we can sell even a giant collection
in a matter of just a few months, and we don't want *ONLY *your quality
items, like some other auctions do.

Is this the right time to sell, given the economic turmoil in the world? Our
just concluded Spring 2010 Mini/Major auction took in over $224,000, and
those were all *REAL* sales to real collectors! That was *OVER *our
expectations, and that was with Part II falling on the night of the day the
stock market was down 1,000 points at one time! Compare that to the pretty
dismal results of lots of other auctions recently held, and you have to
wonder if you are one of the few collectors or dealers left who aren't
already consigning to us!

Go to* http://www.emovieposter.com/statpages/consign.php* to see all the
details of consigning (no tricks, gimmicks, or odious buyers premiums), and
if you have any questions about consigning, e-mail us at *
[email protected]<[email protected]?subject=consignment+questions>
* .

And if you decide you would rather sell your items to someone (we
*NEVER *buy items from anyone, because we don't want to create a huge
conflict of
interest with our consignors), then please be sure to give the buyer our
phone number or e-mail address, because they are almost certain to consign
some or all of what they buy from you to us!

*Now is the time to start thinking about consigning to our Summer 2010
Mini/Major Auction*

We want to let you know that *NOW* is the time to start thinking about
consigning items for our next mini/major auction, scheduled for the end of
July. We know that our last mini/major auction just ended last week, but *the
deadline for consigning to this upcoming auction is June 15th*, and while
that may *SEEM* like a long way away, those kinds of deadlines have a way of
creeping up on you!

We operate on a "first consigned, first sold" basis, and we often get
offered the same items for our mini/major auctions from more than one
consignor, and we always go with the first example we receive, so there is a
great incentive for you to consign sooner than later.

*What do we want for this auction?* Of course, it will likely have a fair
quantity of linenbacked and paperbacked items, but as we did in our just
concluded mini/major auction, we will also include many non-backed items as
well. We prefer to have at least some number of a specific non-backed size
(for example, in our just concluded auction, we had collections of window
cards, inserts, and half-sheets), rather than just one or two of an unbacked
size.
We would of course like the consignments to have a minimum value of at
least $50 per item (a realistic selling price), and we would certainly like
all consignments to average at least $100 per item.

*What types of items are best to send?* In the just concluded auction, film
noir and horror/sci-fi did quite well, especially "better" titles (no
surprise there!). In general, better titles and items with striking
graphics did far better than lesser titles or titles with uninteresting
graphics, so certainly bear that in mind. If you have items you are unsure
about, why not * e-mail us a
list<[email protected]?subject=consignment+questions+about+summer+2010+mini+major+auction>
* and/or pictures of them, and we can give you our thoughts.

*Is this the right time to sell?* In our just concluded auction, items were
reasonably strong across the board, although there were some high points and
low points (as always happens in an honest set of no reserve auctions). But
the best items did *REALLY* well (and other auctions held just before ours
were "soft", to be charitable).
It seems that more and more collectors are finding that they are willing
to bid more in an auction like ours where they know they will receive
exactly what they bid on, and that the bidding will be conducted 100%
honestly, and that they will likely be pleasantly surprised when they
receive their purchases (unlike some other auctions, where they are often
unpleasantly surprised by the condition of the items).

As always, we will offer the bonus t-shirts to every buyer, and additional
great bonuses who buy multiple items. We hope you will contact us soon if
you think you have items that will fit well into this Summer 2010 Mini/Major
Auction!

*The deadline for consigning to our Summer 2010 Mini/Major Auction is
Tuesday, June 15th!*
