When Heritage sells a pressbook, in almost all instances, the poster pages are scanned and remain in enlargeable format forever on the site in our permanent auction archive.

Naturally, of particular interest would be the 1 or 2 pages of the pressbook where all the variations of the poster for the film were shown. In fact, I'd be willing to create one and set it up so individuals could scan and upload pressbook images, if enough people feel it would be a good idea and would be willing to spend some time scanning their pressbooks. It does seem like a big gap in the documentation of our hobby. -- JR Bruce Hershenson wrote: So I was just looking at a ramdom box of pressbooks I have and I came across a bunch of old ones I had forgotten about, and in there was The Lost World and Tarzan the Ape Man. What wonderful posters both those movies had, and isn't it weird that there isn't anywhere in the world where you can go (either physically or digitally) and look through the contents of those pressbooks, and tens of thousands of others?
