Thanks Rick
It would have been a lot easier if they had put dates on Australian posters!

  Hi, John.

I knew you'd come through for us Aussie wannabes (no, not wallabies...)

This is certainly a reissue with artwork from the '58 reissue but I would
be say it was released around 1960. Robert Burton started printing posters
around 1959/60 so that is always a clue. The original is similar to the US
artwork and very scarce indeed.

      Hi, Rich,

But it was printed by Robert Burton. My guess is still '58. As I recall
the Cat On A Hot Tin Roof daybill has the same "Not Suitable For Children"
announcement and it came out in '58, right? Hey, I'm no expert, but I've had a
ton of daybills over the years. Calling John Reid....
                                                                 Rick

        I think it's later than 58

what's the rule on "Not Suitable For Children"??
        isn't that a late 60s-beyond censor?

From the way I see it, you've already answered your own question. I'm
sure John Reid will say it's a 1958 reissue. If anyone knows about Aussie
Hitchcock material, he does....

artwork is like the international 1sh from the '58 re release.
Heritage has one on auction now.
