Depressing – another bland office tower block, albeit with a stunning
foyer. Makes you wonder what goes through the minds of town planners. Last
year
my local town council refused an application to turn a listed building
that was one of the earliest cinemas in England in 1909 (most recently fitted
out in revolting dayglo colours and used as a sports clothing store) … back
into a cinema.
