Nope, Michael, some of us... perhaps quite a few... have lives full of other things to do besides haunt ebay, MPB, Heritage, emovieposters and all the other auctions sites. Combined, there are thousands of posters being auctioned every single week. We (or at least I) simply don't have the time. Also, a lot of us may already own many of the posters we really want (or have simply run out of wall space, storage space and exhausted our spouses' patience). So I for one actually appreciate the lists of posters the sellers put up on MOPO. I can scan them very quickly and if something catches it that I might be interested in, then I can go directly to that particular item in the auction.

Besides, sellers can never have enough places to advertise :)

i begin by saying that when i have items on ebay, i make a posting on MOPO. (i have many 1990s unused catalogues there now, and specialty genre bruce books, and a few posters...... i will make another post in a few minutes. just a habit.) BUT.............isn't it fair to say that EVERYONE ON MOPO checks out ebay, anyway, AND DOESNT NEED TO BE PROMPTED ??? dont we ALL check out bruce's and heritage's site, also? and movieposterbid.com (dont want to leave my vegas friend Rich out........) on rare ocassions i have sold to a MOPO member who thanked me for my posting on MOPO, AND that surprised me. posting about an item not in the regular poster or card categories seems logical. BUT DO WE ON MOPO REALLY NEED TO BE PROMPTED ??? what are the other venues of advertising???? * my want lists do not do well here, although i have occasionally made a private transaction or two to buy.*........ should i post my want list elsewhere. this is my only chat site. michael
