My 1936 Great Ziegfeld C OS came from the Royal Theatre collection.

My dead-on, dinner mint 1937 Life of Emile Zola and 1938 You Can't Take It
With You Style A and several other OS's were from the Gunnard Nelson. Great
condition on the stuff from that collection.

Yeah, but does anyone pay two or five times the regular price because Mel
Torme once owned it?

Paying more for a pedigree item in incredible condition makes perfect sense.
Paying more for a pedigree item in the same condition as a non-pedigree is
the "greater fool theory" at its finest.

There have been several of these named collections. MovieArt
has the IN OLD CHICAGO one sheet from the Mel Torme collection.
