Here's another Ebay deadbeat, dealers may want to add to their Block
List. His Ebay name is giluvi . He's a buyer from Italy who purchases
mostly Elvis Presley memorabilia. He purchased a lobby card from me for
$100 and wanted me to indicate the value on the customs declaration at
$10, which I did. I shipped his card within two days of his payment .
Once he ascertained that his card was shipped , he requested a full
refund from PayPal claiming non-receipt. I'm taking the position that
since he wanted the card valued at $10 that all he should be entitled to
but I doubt that will wash with PayPal. I'm also certain that he's
probably received the card and knows there is no tracking for it. I hate
in the future to insist that international buyers pay for Global
Priority Shipping which can be insured and tracked since the cost is
extremely high but I don;t know how else to protect against deadbeats
such as this one. If anyone has any suggestions, please e-mail me.
