Dave, no real malice in my post, just can't get on with using smileys.
I really don't care what a dealer gets for something, as long as
honestly described etc, that's precisely their business.
Admittedly, if I was looking to acquire a Pretty Woman 1 sht, I might
whine about the value of them, but I don't feel the need.
Just found that example just as silly.

thanks Rich. Yes, I wasn't criticizing anyone's listing......just
wondering what all the fuss was about. I wonder what would happen if
someone created a poster with Cher, Christina, Liza, Barbra, and
Gaga........I'll bet it would sell for millions!!
and thanks Freeman for explaining QWM...
my prices are high? really? thanks for the insight.
so tell me genius people.....what is a Wall Street rolled one sheet
in c9 condition worth?
I sold one last week in a no reserve auction for a whopping 99 cents!!
I sold one today on ebay at a fixed price for $395.00.

I think everyone is being a little tough on Dave today.
YES Dave does have some of the most outlandish prices on movie posters
however, Dave was not critiqueing anyone with his query
he is asking "why does this poster bring so much money?", which is
an honest question - regardless of the questioner
Dave did not say "this seller is nuts" or "look at the outrageous
price this poster gets"
he's asking "what am I missing here?"
Freeman answered the question perfectly "QWM"
Both Cher and Christina are icons to the Gay Community..
do I see $100+ for those posters?? No freakin way!!
but then again, I also don't see $71,000 for a Todd McFarlane Spider-
Man comic cover art

I think the guy is a hack.. someone else thinks he's Rembrandt..
that's their business

Dave, surely you're the Rod Serling in this particular bizarre
Twilight Zone of movie posters, and better placed than just about
anybody to explain why???!!!!.

Sorry if I misunderstood your intentions, David. I just don't
think it's a good idea to criticize other's Ebay listings. Lord
knows, someone somewhere will eventually find something in my
listings that they think are overpriced and I don't want to see
this splashed across MOPO. That said, I have no idea why these are
in demand, probably the fan clubs of the two leads are buying
these up. FRANC
