OK ready for this??? I did it,,,,,, yep...
well it was alot different then I thought my day would be..... I went to
be late as I was so pumped to do it
Then I think i had the best sleep ever in my life and was in deep REM
sleep when something thought it heard tiny tinkles... of water..... then
as I awoke the tiny tinkles turned to raindrops and then finally full
rain shower....
So i thought... should i even go>?? the n my self said.. yes you cant
let down MOPO...
so then it was liek 830 am after i screwed around waking , shower and all..
then I went to rtake my super energy power drink... I misplaced it..!!!
so went around looking for that losing time..
then I drove like a bat outta hell to get ther by 9 am.. passing a COP
doing 50 mph in a 30
I never speed..... I had my appeal ready Officer this is in the sake of
Diabetes!!
well he didnt come after me... so then It was kind hard figureing where
to park... and then it was like 40-50 degrees.. I wore a hoodie over a
tshirt... so I went to the check in Booth and they gave me t-shirts and
they had a tent with liek a free water bottle and food like granola
bars, cofffee and more...
The local Biker group was cooking Hot Dogs.. called te Centurions who
are like the hells angels of Toledo..
news celebroties announced stuff and they had a Big turnout considering
it wa raining..
So I stopped at one booth and met two incredible women.... this one is
the firt of like 400 in the world to receive a test system of infusing
cells into the bidy that reverses type 1.. seh has been free of diabetes
2 years!!!!! I met her and she is very happy and has had no adverse
effects.... so her volunteer friend told me you know if you wanted you
can skip the walk as no one keeps track,,,, I said yeah,,, BUt I am....
so I thought,, here i am in cold rain and nobody sees this but me....
what kind of Nut am I... I think I should go home to a warm bed and watch
But I stood in te line and did the wal...there was so make people you
could not strech out your legs so it was more of a shuffle... they had
the 1 mile or the 3 mile path... I did the 3 mile.. and So we just
walked.. Now the only odd thing was the baby carriges and Kids swinging
Umbrellas... That was the most danger.... and people needing to stop to pee.
they had water and medic every 1 mile... so they were prepared for
peopel collapseing/
SO mopo hers the great news For You.. they told me the Government matchs
each 1.00 dontaed x 3.00 so a 50 donation is actually 150 or more!!
They raised 261.000 .00 today InToledo and your donation was part of it...
and with the hopeful news of the transplanted cells and all Just think
you may have invested in the cure for diaebetes.. that has to make you
feel good especially if you know someone...

so then at the end the one woman I spoke with happend to be in
advertising and she invited me to a Lunchoen of the ad club of Toledo
where ad excec get together and network...
I was a member back in 1876 so it was funny as things are so different now.
anyways.. she said it was like serendipity to meet me...
It was cool looking on faces of Hope and seeing a unified group of
people walking in the rain for a common cause... so the rain almost
signified blessings..
ohhh and I took pics to prove I went there.. and the woman ad person
took a Pic of me
so at the end she saw me again.. and she knew I could have left and I
said well I didn the 3 miles.. and she said I know you did I can attest
to it... so I t was very funny to have met her
and have a witness....
Then I went to a diner and had a coffee and a english Muffin...
cool or what?
thanks for all those that helped the Diabetes group of Toledo I bet

I may go walk again in my reguar park just to give you a extra thank s:)
