*This is ABSOLUTELY one of our best Sunday selections ever, and we are basically just about out of three types of items in our Sunday auctions!* We have been auctioning three separate remarkable collections in our Sunday auctions, one of vintage movie magazines, one of glass slides, and one of German programs. Each were assembled over many decades by *VERY* dedicated collectors who loved those sizes, as has been apparent by the scope of each! Now we are sadly approaching the very end of *ALL THREE* these great collections (we timed it so they would run out at the same time), and this week we have some of the coolest items from each!
The glass slide collection is almost gone (except for a very few lesser condition bulk lots of them). *THIS WEEK, WE HAVE FUN "AUDIENCE INSTRUCTION" SLIDES (like "Ladies please remove your hats") AND THEN THIS REMARKABLE COLLECTION IS ENTIRELY GONE!* The fan movie magazines include some wonderful early 1910s and 1920s issues including some of the absolute earliest issues of *MOTION PICTURE* magazine from 1915!. *IF YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN MOVIE MAGAZINES, BE SURE TO LOOK AT THIS WEEK'S OFFERING, BECAUSE IT INCLUDES A LOT OF GREAT (AND SCARCE) ONES, AND WE HAVE NEXT-TO-NONE OF THESE LEFT TO AUCTION!* The German program are almost gone. This week we have super scare ones from 1932, including *GREAT *titles you never see *ANYTHING *on, like *CAVALCADE*, *GRAND HOTEL*, *ONE WAY PASSAGE, BIRD OF PARADISE* (with a *topless* Dolores Del Rio!) and many more! And remember we also have *scripts* (some old ones and some from modern movies like *WHEN HARRY MET SALLY*)* * and *exhibitor magazines* (this week we have wonderful ones, with some with a cover or ads for John Barrymore's *Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde*, Von Stroheim's *Devil's Passkey* and *Blind Husbands*, and much much more!) *AND WE HAVE THIRTY GREAT "BULK LOTS" OF POSTERS, MOVIE MAGAZINES, AND GLASS SLIDES THAT OFFER VALUES TOO GOOD TO BE BELIEVED!* Three times *EVERY *week we auction hundreds of items that sell for low, low prices (we actually sell lots and lots of items for $1 and $2, and around half of all that we auction goes for $14 and under, and our leading 'competitor" *NEVER* auctions a single item for less than *FIFTEEN DOLLARS*, due to their *outrageous* $14 minimum buyers premium). But Sunday's 212 glass slides, scripts, magazines, exhibitor magazines, German programs, and bulk lots , closing *THIS AFTERNOON* (not at night, like our Tuesday and Thursday auctions), on the *26th of September*, represent *REALLY* incredible values, and that includes a lot of truly * WONDERFUL* items, and yet many of these are currently languishing at low, low, prices!* * With just 8 hours to go, these 212 Sunday items include a wacky 44 that are still at $1 each or have no bid, an insane 82 that are $4 each and under and a mind-boggling 109 that are $6 each and under! *THAT'S RIGHT OVER HALF OF THESE ITEMS ARE $6 EACH OR UNDER, AND THAT INCLUDES A LOT OF GOOD ITEMS THAT MOST DEALERS WOULD ASK $20, $30 OR FAR MORE FOR!! Here is a list of the current top 40 items (and most of those are still way under where you would expect to find them on dealers' websites): *6e210 WHEN HARRY MET SALLY script February 16, 1988, screenplay by Nora Ephron, Boy Meets Girl! 6e177 FUGITIVE second draft script October 1988, screenplay by D.
