Helmut -- If his shipping costs were too high, you shouldn't have bought
from him. If he satisfied his agreement with you and delivered the
posters in the condition he stated in a timely manner, you should leave
him positive feedback and frankly he shouldn't have to ask. It's the
polite thing to do and something you'd want a buyer to do for you. Why
would you want to wreck his feedback with a negative because you feel
put out by his request for a feedback? FRANC

Subject: [MOPO] eBay Seller pestering for Feedback

Have you ever encountered the type of eBay seller that sends you
repeated emails, pestering you to leave feedback?

I just have another one of these losers on my heels: I won two posters
from him, and upon his second reminder, I left a brief feedback for one
of them, a simple 'ok'.

I had hoped that this would make him go away, but, no siree. He comes
back, pestering to leave him feedback for the other item. Now, I was not
too excited with the condition of both posters to begin with, and his
shipping costs were too high.

Frankly, my natural reaction is to leave him a negative, simply for
pestering.

Now I know that most of you out there are a lot more patient with these
guys than I am, so help me out here: What does the 'netiquete' say in a
case like this? Give in to his pestering? Simply ignore him? Leave him a
negative afterall? (Which I have admittedly done in cases like this.)

I can understand if an eBay BUYER insists on feedback, but we're talking
about a SELLER here.

Cheers,

Helmut
