Agree w/Bruce here...I'm enjoying that show, HOLLYWOOD TREASURE,
but it seems kind of funny to me that one of their methods of authentication
for costumes and props is to watch the respective film/TV show and just try to 
eyeball the specific details (of the piece) to see if it matches up.

I mean, there's gotta be a better way, right?

The dark side calls: 'Darth Vader' costume on sale
Note that they say that " the costume is thought to have been made for "The 
Empire Strikes Back"! They only "think" it? What the heck does that mean?

Anyone here remember L.A. Props, which purchased common 1930s and 1940s items 
on 
eBay and then added fake COAs and sold them as the property of famous celebs 
through major auction houses? Is there any hobby more riddled with fakes that 
the movie prop business?
