The reason is of course because the super-wealthy are making greater amounts of money because all the companies they have invested in laid off millions of employees in 2008+2009 haven't hired these people back, and those they have hired back they've gotten at bargain rate salaries because of course everyone who isn't uber-wealthy is fearful of ever getting a job otherwise and will take whatever they can get.
