We get a lot of weird messages from people who always seem to "know it all". On one end of the spectrum are people complaining about "how we could take a perfectly good poster and fold it up and ruin it.......how dare we do such a thing!!".....to the other end of the spectrum where people think there is no way a poster can be "original" if it has never been folded. Sometimes they are pretty amusing, just thought I'd share this one. This was regarding an original CADDYSHACK 40x60. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I worked in the movie industry from 1978 to 1989. All movie theaters were send the "Original" Promo Poster by mail. The poster was folded into several sections until it measured 8 x 10. This was an industry standard. Judging from your poster, I do not see any fold marks? I wonder is this is a fake, and you could be in alot of trouble for attempting to sell FAKE merchandise. Better be careful. Most of the folded Caddyshack posters I have monitored since 2000, have only sold for about 300 to 500 with the fold marks. Better remove this listing before I let EBAY know about this.
