a couple weeks ago I did a BIN with Rick Ryan for a Revenge of the
Creature card at $35
paid right away as I usually do and later that day Rick emailed me
that his wife did the listing and I got lucky because she wasn't
supposed to add a BIN to the listing. Of course, Rick wasn't asking
me to withdraw as he has more class than that, and he sells me plenty
of stuff anyway.
I suggest the possibility that one the many employees at Nates might
have made a mistake at the $17,500 offer

seller "apparently" accepted a "best offer" for $17,500. That
offer WAS accepted. Either the buyer got cold feet or the seller
had second thoughts. At any rate, that sale (original link below),
was for the same poster, and it "closed" eight days ago (Feb. 26),
and now, as Jay pointed out, it's back.
