the orange one was really good for the few weeks it lasted, but it quickly gave 
way to more conventional posters with headshots of firth/rush and  - a few 
weeks later  - of firth, rush and bonham-carter.  for the distributors to have 
released the orange poster they mustn't, contractually, have had to give parity 
to the other two actors in the campaign, but once the film snowballed and they 
needed everyone promoting and pushing the film it probably made more sense to 
shift to the more banal but inclusive campaign, n

The simple graphic orange one was quite nice.
Strange how they even left his pores there on that one, whereas other styles 
they did the standard heavy retouching so it looked like Colin Firth was one of 
the mutants advertising face cream.
