This means that just because you have the high bid on an item near the end you should not relax and think you are likely to get that item, because on average, the total prices of our items *DOUBLE* over the last couple of hours. So if you might consider raising your bid if you get outbid, you should try to be by your computer as that item ends, because you will * ALWAYS* get five extra minutes to decide whether to re-bid if you are outbid.
