found out the cleopatra's have a edge code notches in them!! this dates and also tells the stock etc.. IMPORTANT news Flash ! I just spoke to film restoration expert Charlie Dodge who is a specialist in restoration of film images He told me to look for the film notches on the film so I opened the staples on the Image of Taylor and Harrison standing next to wall with griffens on tope The cut notches are two v cuts and one long notch . Charlie suspects that the transparencys are duplicates that the studio would have made off the master. the Good news is these can be printed and color corrected with the new equipment and programs, so even if color was off it can be corrected in the print you would want made The typical process was e-3 and was ektachrome.
