Don't click my DON'T SHOW box - but...
I confess that on occasion I will list a foreign poster both under the foreign
and US categories.
For instance, I put up a Belgian Tarantula and a Belgian THEM - (originals, of
course).
Both posters are wonderful examples of the key art, vivid and bright as
Belgians are wont to be -
But after listing only in foreign, it just seemed to me that there would be
some US collectors that would like to be aware of these much less expensive
alternatives to their American poster counterparts.
If not listed in the US category and the potential buyer did not search by
title, they would not know this piece existed - for sale or otherwise.
Personally, if I was starting out today with limited funds - I would buy
Belgians when it came to the high-priced spread and enjoy the poster for what
it is rather than where it came from.
