I just wanted to thank you for the kind comments about my column over at Blu-ray.com, I will be doing 6-8 of them per month there. This is one of the reasons I have inquired about pressbooks. To those who sent me lists, It is taking some time going through them, it takes time to check against what I already have. I WILL get back to you:-) If you find anyone wanting to sell any, please do contact me.
On The Ten Commandments column it tells a bit about me. I have a collection of about 10,000 pressbooks, about 15% of those are duplicates, but I have many titles to fill in. Of course when I write for the site, I have to write about movies coming out on Blu-ray, but am always interested in other pressbooks. My columns (you will see why I use pressbooks for part of them) Ten Commandments http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=6005 Once Upon a Time in the West: http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=6245 You may also like to see my previous column which were on The Digital Bits, here was my main page and you can choose the columns at the bottom (links in blue). My best one there was for How the West was Won: http://www.thedigitalbits.com/articles/robertsiegel/index.html The movies coming out(or have been released) that I do NOT have pressbooks for are: High and Low (1963) The Music Room (1958) Camille 2000 (1969) People on Sunday (1930) Kiss me Deadly Vera Cruz (1954) The Hustler (1963) Houdini (1953) Man who could cheat death (1959) Romeo and Juliet (1954) How to Marry a Millionaire There's No Business like Show Business The King and I (large Cinemascope 55 pressbook) Greatest Story Ever Told (large format not small 16 page one) Senso (1954) Sweet Smell of Success (1957, lots of requests for me to write about this) The Stranger (1946) Kansas City Confidential (1952) All About Eve (1950) Caine Mutiny (1954) True Grit (1969) Oceans 11 (1960) The Magician (1958) Maltese Falcon (1941) Third Man (1949) Red Shoes (1948) A Star is Born (1954) Bigger than Life (1956) African Queen (1951) Lady Killers (1955) Christmas Carol (1951) It's a Wonderful Life Miracle on 34th street Wages of Fear (1953) Casablanca (1942) Rio Bravo (1959) The Searchers (1956) Day the Earth stood Still These are not out on Blu-ray or scheduled, but I am interested in them: Rear Window The Wild One (1953) Let's Make Love (1953) Vertigo Flaming Star (1960) To Kill a Mockingbird (1963) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953) Love me Tender (1956) 20,000 Leagues under the Sea (orig release) Man who Knew too Much (1956) Seven Year Itch (1955) Incredible Shrinking Man (1957) Lady and the Tramp (original release) Obviously I could not afford the very old popular ones (depending on price) but I would be interested in leasing them if available.
