I saw this movie on TV when I was about 8 or 9 and have never forgotten it.
Of course, back then I had no idea who the actors were (though they were
familiar from many another movie seen on TV), I just loved the movie. But
what a cast! Gary Cooper, Ray Milland, Robert Preston, Brian Donlevy, Susan
Hayward. Fantastic!
Now I'll have to find a copy and watch it again!

William Wellman aka "Wild Bill" was one hot director and Brian Donlevy is
so over the top sometimes.
