I agree with you 100% Franc.
While Hollywood has gotten better in recent years and cleaned itself
up, when i walk there and see the (still) empty real estate that
could have been (be) used for something like this, it really breaks
my heart.
Grauman's Chinese Theatre sold recently, too, to an individual who
may opt to open it to conventions, and the like. I am just hoping
that, because if it's landmark status, he is NOT ever able to alter
the structure's interior or exterior. That, too, would be a tragedy.

the Debbie Reynolds sale is fascinating for what it doesn't
include. the singular tragedy in the conservation of movie history
is Reynolds being willing but unable to save the destruction of the
