My girls love those reality shows. So, they are all scripted? Even the ones
where you win something like becoming a model, winning the baking contest,
etc.?

during conversation with Bruce Boxleitner a couple years I remarked
"Yeah for that reality tv crap they even need writers"
to which Bruce wagged his finger at me and "oh no.. there's always a script"

Every reality show
is painfully and obviously staged, even the good ones. I know people who
work in production on shows like this and quite often when one of the
regulars is saying something pithy into the camera in the
"interview" segments, they are in fact repeating back to the
camera word-for-word scripted lines that a production assistant has just
read out loud to them. It's how the game is played. Most viewers don't
know or care.

of the crazy appraisals, unintentionally entertaining. Hilarious,
