Star Trek posters are cheap because "Trekkies" are the cheapest of
all collectors anywhere
I used to set up at Star Trek conventions in NYC, starting from the
first one ever held in 1970 run by Al Shuster
Trek fans don't spend anything on anything. If it isn't a downright
theft (by price value) they have no interest.
Now there may be 1% (or less) that may actually spend real money on
Trek collectibles (meaning more than two dollars and fifty cents),
but I never met them
