so much better than the US poster
it's the pharmaceutical industry.. we pay all the
costs in the USA and everyone in International
places gets the best posters for cheap!!

I agree with Rich about a lot of the
international 1-sheets having better art and
thus being more in demand than the domestic
1-sheets. A couple more that come to mind,
though these are older titles: Pale Rider and Billy Jack.

while people prefer the US posters when the
images are the same. generally speaking during
the past 20 years, International styles have
different art and frequently even better art than the US posters
some obvious examples are the Ferris Buehler
posters which the Intl is way better, the
Monsters Inc Intl I sold last week which many
consider to have superior art, Run Lola Run
where the Intl style is better than the crappy
US poster and the Harry Potter poster that ends
today, which doesn't have better art but is totally different from US paper.
generally speaking, International 1sheets are
much scarcer than regular US 1sheets and that
difference makes the internationals more valuable on popular titles

Hallo MOPOers
I'm wondering if any of you place a premium on
Domestic Advance 1sheets over International
Advance 1sheets (where the only visible
difference between the posters seems to be the
additional of several small letters). Are there
issues around the numbers of print runs for
domestic and international posters? As far as I
can see, these runs frequently look as if they
must come contemporaneously from the same
printer, so I'd be interested to know if sellers
and buyers significantly favour/value Domestic Advance over International.
Cheers!
