Hey, I'm sorry Michael, but sometimes your somewhat inane, self absorbed
questions always seem to appear when you have auctions running on eBay.
Jeez, it truly appears as if you could use a second hobby other than movie
poster collecting or else please free the rest of us from this BLAH BLAH
insignificant babble. Jeez, if you've been collecting movie posters more than 6

months or so...make a decision.
I admit I've wasted MoPo's time in the past, but I truly think now it's
your turn...

i agree.

what prompted my question today was that i received a few posters, one of
which is the half sheet of THE BAD SEED. it is folded, as advertised, in
quarters. i had intended to sell it, but when i compared it to my rolled
copy, the colors on the folded one appear more vibrant. i never would have
guessed the one i had was in any way faded. until i decide, i will keep
them both.

last year, i replaced a framed poster that was near mint with one that had
a couple of pinholes in each corner since the pastel colors were bolder.

some say one factor in color differences could be in the printing process
itself, and some lighter colors are not as bold at the end of the printing
run.............

Neither did I, I'm not just talking about something as bad as that Vertigo
1 sht that Dave Lieberman was selling.

but whenever you put posters side by side, one alwys looks
brighter..........

If the fading is only to the minutest degree that is only perceptible by a
side by side comparison, then I probably won't know about it, because I
won't be doing that.

But if something is perceptibly faded without that comparison, I'll pass
and wait for one that isn't, even if it's forever.

Faded equals dead poster, won't go near them.
