Encore, a pay channel on DirecTV and elsewhere I suppose, is showing THE LADIES
MAN, THE ERRAND BOY, THE NUTTY PROFESSOR and THE GEISHA BOY (there may
be others as well) while airing their new documentary about Jerry Lewis.
Whether these are precursors to Blu Rays, as these types of showing often are,
I don't know. The documentary is a serious love fest from the likes of Jerry
Seinfeld, Richard Belzer, Stephen Spielberg, Carole Burnett, John Landis and
other talking heads. Some interesting footage including good footage of the
legendary fawning French.
