Hope everyone is having a terrific 2012! Unfortunately, there have been a rash
of car fires in the Hollywood, West Hollywood, and North Hollywood area. It
started on Thursday and with all the explosions and sirens it sounded like we
were under attack. Whoever is doing this is also going into the hills and it
makes me very nervous. So far it's been mainly cars parked in carports. Jim
Morrison's former house in the Hollywood Hills was damaged. Ironically this
was
after it was on a rental ad. We were out on NYE at our friends' establishment
and found out one of their buildings got burned. Thank God no one was hurt but
there was outside damage to the building. It's been reported that the person
or
persons are placing small explosive devices under the cars and remotely setting
them off. Needless to say I'm on pins & needles because it's been hot and
windy
here in LA and a fire could spread quickly.
Hope everyone is safe. Fingers crossed they get these perps soon.
