Many of you may be familiar with the artwork of my son, Garrett Blair. His fantasy and pin-up art is sold through several online sources, as well as his own site, www.garrett-blair.com. and has been featured on t-shirts and CD covers.
He studied film at Watkins College of Art, Design and Film in Nashville. His first professional work was as Special Effects Director for the 2004 independent release, DODGE CITY, starring Isaac Hayes. There are several tribute videos to his artwork currently on You Tube. While the critcal numbers are not the best, the prognosis is hopeful and he will begin treatment next week. Like many freelance artists, he is not insured. He is planning to finance his treatments through the contuned sale of his artwork as long as he is able to work. Of course, we, his family will help, but the cost of continuing treatment of this cruel disease is enormously expensive. If you would like to help, please visit his website.
